The Ticks survived very well in the early 1800s during warm years - many years before a widespread increase in CO2 emissions. This is why there were plenty of ghost moose reported back at this time. They were even more common at that time than they are now.

If the ghost moose WERE more common - a highly dubious statistic - it was not because it was warmer. You see, the northern latitudes are much warmer now than they were then. So the ticks don't die over winter as much. Got it?
There were many warm winters in North America over the past two centuries where the ticks did not die off. This is not a new event, but has been recorded in history many times. Trying to claim this is something new and attribute it to "climate change" is absurd.

You still don't seem to understand. A year or two warmer than normal in the past is not the same as now. The last ten-fifty years have been warmer than any on record. This means the the ticks are not dying off and are reaching very high levels. Perhaps the highest levels in a thousand years, just like the temperature. This is what we can expect as one of the effects of global warming. Understand yet? It's very simple. It's warmer now, so there are more ticks.

This is not any different than many other tick seasons in the past 200 years. Take a look at the history in North America of ticks infecting hoofed animals and livestock. There are many similar periods. Trying to claim the current situation is uprecedented is absurd.

The current situation is certainly unusual. Do you want to know why? Because the last decade has been the warmest in at least a thousand years. That means more ticks. Why you can't grasp this very simple concept is truly a mystery. The only possible answer is that you are an ignorant, obtuse, dogmatic, deluded, ideologically crazed, right wing dolt.
The last decade was warmer than many decades in the Medieval Warm period? I think not.
The British Met HadCRUT4 temperature data makes it clear that the earth has not been warming for over 18 years.
I find it absurd that the NOAA crowd located in Asheville, North Carolina staffed by a group of leading climate alarmists pushes nonsense that the majority of meteorologists state is not true. These are not the warmest years on record. The assertions of the California Institute of Technology alarmists (which you claim represents NASA but it does not) are equally absurd. The IPCC reports are the peak of extremist nonsense that is not backed with factual science - but pure politics.
In about 20 years this "climate change" stuff will be mocked universally as the greatest scientific fraud in centuries. The real problem is that the nonsense currently undermines real science.
Do us a favor. Go download the freely available HadCRUT4 temperature data, pull it into an excel spreadsheet and graph it. Do not add any corrections, just use the raw data. Provide your completed spreadsheet posted on ET. And explain how your graph shows that the global temperature has increased over the past 18 years. This is your homework - hop to it if you desired to show even a crumb of credibility. Or all you can do is re-cycle bullshiat while calling knowledgeable people names?
