NASA is one the four most authoritative sources of climate information in the world.

NASA's scientific conclusions:

GLOBAL WARMING HAS SLOWED
IT IS A MYSTERY TO NASA WITH RESPECT TO WHY IT HAS SLOWED
TEMP IN TOP HALF OF WORLD'S OCEANS ARE NOT CLIMBING FAST ENOUGH TO ACCOUNT FOR STALLED AIR TEMPS
WARMING IN DEEP OCEAN IS NOT CAUSING SEA LEVEL RISE
WATER TEMP IN DEEP OCEAN HASN'T RISEN SINCE 2005
AIR TEMPERATURES HAVE STALLED

So you STILL don't understand that the heat of the earth is not measured by air temps and that NASA NEVER said that the earth has stopped gaining heat and in fact, the earth is still gaining heat just as fast as ever. In fact, faster.

Here's hint. Heat content is a product of both temperature and mass.

The earth is gaining heat faster than ever. Remember though, heat content is not the same as temperature. And NASA agrees as does NOAA and virtually all the world's climate science community.

So FC, where is the heat hiding? You state that the heat of the earth is not measured in air temps. According to the ARGO sea temperature data - the global ocean temperature has only gone up 0.04 degrees over the past 50 years... which is less than the instrument measurement error.

Similarly any earth surface temperature data measured by satellite or instrument shows no increase in the global surface temperature.

So where is all of the heat hiding? When you figure this out... you may want to contact Michael Mann who can not find the heat either -- except when he is "adjusting" old air temperature data to make the past look colder and the current times warmer... in a fabricated comparison.

The heat is not hiding anywhere. Here it is. Do you know how to read a chart? I've posted this numerous times and you denier idiots still don't get it. WTF is wrong with you? Denialitus? Right wing brainwashing? This is 94% of the earth's heat. The heat in the air is about 3% of this. Measuring air temp is NOT measuring the temp of the earth.

Once again your fanciful chart with the scary scale. Let's get back to basics - 10^24 Joules represents the amount of heat to raise the temperature of the earth's ocean water by 1 degree. The rise shown in your scary graph of 20 * 10^22 Joules represents a mere 0.04 degrees increase in ocean temperature. This has been outlined by the ARGO team - who also have stated the proper way to graph ocean heat content is on a y axis scale of 10^24 joules (in which case the graph looks basically flat).

Let's take a look at a graph with the ocean temperature data from the ARGO team.

So you agree that air temps have stalled?

In the 21st century, greenhouse gases have continued to accumulate in the atmosphere, just as they did in the 20th century, but global average surface air temperatures have stopped rising in tandem with the gases. The temperature of the top half of the world's oceans -- above the 1.24-mile mark -- is still climbing, but not fast enough to account for the stalled air temperatures.

FC - why don't you graph the ocean heat content chart on the 10^24 Joules scale as recommended by ARGO and post it to ET. You will see that it is basically a flat line.
