Personally, I like the idea that the growing Antarctic ice is due to the rapidly melting land ice. That HAS to be having some large effects.

Once again, the party that is supposed to be fiscally responsible is going to end up costing us more in the long run.
Why not mention the pause? It doesn't change the fact that we raised levels of CO2 - a greenhouse gas - by 40% and the earth is unnaturally warming without pause. There really is no pause at all.
BTW, the heat content of the oceans is a far better measure than air of how much our earth is heating up.
What does a peter puffer like you know about ocean heat content?
