Trump's presentation and conduct is highly questionable as well ( that's an understatement ). Younger generations have to be heard in a society that isn't looking after their future interests very well.
The main point is in terms of dealing with climate change, pollution, gun control you want to err on the side of over doing it not under doing it because it's much harder to deal with later on if you miss the mark. The US seems intent on a minimilistic approach to dealing with climate and weather related issues. No surprise really how badly "natural disasters" are dealt with then despite the nation's resources; not enough planning for and contingencies in place before the events hit. I do wonder if the climate change denial contributes to how badly American climate related tragedies are planned for.

And, as previously stated, this is why your analogy doesn't apply and it is also why you will never get people who don't agree with you to change sides, unless you can prove it to them and as we discussed before, there are good people on both sides with plenty of facts and objective data. I don't ignore any of it and I also do not assume one side is right simply because newspapers and TV tell me I should do so... There was a famous brazilian singer called Raul Seixas. He was a genius.
