BTW (in my case) punt means a delay on the FC to sometime next year - giving the politicos more time to <strike>stay in power and continue looting</strike> reach a compromise. Then Obama and friends get crazy and demand something fierce like at least two dollars of tax raises per dollar of "spending cuts" - if not a whole lot higher than that. Further, these "spending cuts" will be the same steaming pile of bovine excrement that we usually get from DC. They won't be actual cuts but merely reductions in planned growth. Of course, the democrats can offer the republicans the usual additional fairyland deal of substantial cuts to be named later. LOL.

Next year, the One will stand tall. The GOP'll be hosed. Either they agree to a massive tax hike (Read My Lips™) or they stand tall, send us over the cliff and get raped in the MSM. Either way, they get slaughtered in the mids.
