"Clicky" Keyboard

I did it! I bought a mechanical "buckling spring" keyboard like the old IBM keyboards.

I found the original manufacturor of those IBM keyboards and ordered one a couple of weeks ago.

It is more decisive (like my trading should be) and not mushy...I make fewer errors with my fat fingers.

Price $56.46 inc shipping....

Welcome to the Model M world. I've been using the same one for 10 years. Whenever I try to type on a newer keyboard, I can't let my fingers fly because each keystroke is so... indecisive.Maybe it's because I have developed a Model M style, and not because there is some quality inherent to the Model M which allows for faster typing, but anyway...

When I check email at my sister's place, she asks me why I am smashing her keyboard so hard :)

Keypads w/o labels. "Weighted key groups". Sheesh. People will buy anything.

Am I the only one thinks the emperor isn't wearing any clothes on this one?

If you wanna type faster get in the habit of watching the screen instead of the keyboard as you type. You don't need to pay extra for a blank keyboard, for chrissake...
