Classic Bear Market action, NOT normal correction action…

This is classic bear market action, not normal correction action. We have had vicious intra day swings and then get slammed the end of day.. All rallies have been violently sold off. That is what a bear market looks like. We will get a few pops no doubt but the trend has changed and the bear will gain control. Those that buy and foolishly think its all clear will get slammed with selling. As I said, this needs to play out.
When you have stocks like AMC and GME getting ridiculously bid up and everyone is buying all kinds of bitcoin and your hair stylist is giving stock tips, thats a bubble! Reddit and Robinhood= bubble
 
It does seem like we're entering a bearish market which is completely normal. Its key to either hold long term no matter what so these events can be ridden out correction or bear market
 
Bear market now? Not necessarily.

Corrections in a bull market act like a "mini-bear" market. Same type of behavior, but not for such a long time or big distance down.

IMV, school is still out on whether this is a bear market or a correction in the bull.

I could guess now as to whether a bear market has already started, but I won't conclude that until the indices close AND HOLD below critical(?) support. That be...

Could be. From my view point we have had a continuous secular bull market since march of 2009. That is a 13 year period of rising stock market. Every bull market eventually comes to an end sooner or later. Who knows, too early to tell.

Your definition of a bear market is very narrow.

QQQ yield is 0.5%. That is a dividend stock that is priced for massive growth if interest rates are (say) 2%.

Is QQQ going to go up 5% annually over the next 10 years? Maybe.
 
I would not care if this is a bear or bull market. But look at the valuation and P/E. That is what matters.

MSFT: 33
AAPL: 28.90
GOOGL: 25.11
FB: 22.5
NFLX: 45.22
NVDA: 61.92
AMZN: 55.81

Those are just so ridiculous. All of them get more room to fall down.
