Absolutely. That did not escape my notice by any means. "Early" is indeed the operative word. He threw Obama under the bus about four steps earlier than I thought he would. Beautiful.
As I have said before, the trail would eventually lead to Obama but I speculated that you would most likely have to squeeze Susan Rice to get there. It can be done but would/will take some work and then you can work it back to the other bad actors once Susan Rice caved to protect herself.
But whoa, Clapper unexpectedly puts a dress on and tries to get into the lifeboat with the women very early on. He has reason to be rattled I guess. Most likely, he has heard from the swamp what documents are being examined or have been released to Barr/Durham or knows who has been interviewed. He clearly is trying to pre-position himself for some incoming.
It's a beautiful thing all way round. Now Durham approaches Rice, Brennan, and several others with the presumption that if they were in the intel loop and Clapper was in the know what did they know based on the presumption that they traveled in the same circles and collaborated. Versus trying to confirm that Obama knew at all and then going from there. Bam!!! Clapper has confirmed it. So the others will immediately see that the cat is out of the bag and start spilling their stuff or else go the other way and start perjuring themselves-at the risk that the others will counter them. A gift from the Gods.
And of course, there is also the question of what Joe Biden knew.
