Not really. The Dec contract expires next Wednesday. It just so happens that the Jan/13 contract volume is now over-taking the Dec/ 12 volume. Gradual rollover by the big boys has begun. You can usually tell when it establishes a tight range going into the pit close ie: yesterday. Everyone wants a orderly move from Dec to Jan with a consistent low spread between bid and ask on both contracts.
 
also says last day 11 /20,take out thursday thanksgiving and that 3 days prior to the 25th,and its the 20th, 20th must be settlement date
