every time this thing even threatens staying below 90 they pull something out of their asses. I didn't even know there was anything left of Turkey after that earthquake.

I went long, and CL was mean and went down right after I got in. I moved my stop a little, and set to go long 1 more contract which did not get filled, then CL shot up past my 1st entry, and I got out of the trade with a scalper profit. Thought on trade, was I should have waited for either a couple more ticks of CL moving my way to get in long at the higher price since it would prove that it was not going to form another green candle a little lower. Or much better wait for the formation process of the new candle and get in a tiny bit lower. On the news CNBC, tensions in the Middle East are causing a rise in CL.

There was some fictional show I was watching in the past, can't remember it's name, where Israel has already bombed Iran, I guess we will see if that happens in real life.

The PA in ES has been terrible leaving few trading opportunities. While I've lurked here from time to time (some good PA traders here) I'm not a CL trader.

I tend to use tight stops in ES (often 6 ticks off what Al Brooks would call an H2 or L2) with a scalp target of 10 ticks leaving a runner. I'm not suggesting H2 & L2A are the way to trade CL but a standard setup like that will give me a benchmark ... a sense of what CL traders tend to use in similar situations (more room for sure and a more aggressive scalp target) and would help as I start to look at CL more seriously.

I've always been impressed with the way you guys seem to help each other with no BS and am hopeful I can get some advice.

Take a look at es 4 hour , and place lwma 19 on it , if price is above lwma or trendlines look for longs , if price below lwma or down trend lines look for shorts.
