Do you day trade CL, tomahawk?
Do you find that higher time frames are important for your analysis?
Thanks.

Quote from tomahawk:
Yes and yes. I find that TL's and levels on the hourly provide stronger S/R and sometimes act as magnets. If a level fails, I like to look for the next one on the higher TF.![]()

Nice call.
If we bottom out here, you`re my new CL hero!
Do you chart 24/7 for higher time frames or just NYMEX RTH?
I tried drawing a similar trend line on my 24 hour chart, but did not get 105,15.

Thanks, but I'm by no means a hero on CL, just get lucky once in awhile.![]()

LF what's your style mainly? Trend, fade S/R? (haven't analyzed your trades from the other journal, apologies).

Quote from Laissez Faire:
Once in a while can go a long way.
Thanks for the input.
Tough question to answer quickly, but I trade both trends and fade whenever appropriate. Basically trying to capture the swings as they unfold throughout the day, using some basic statistics to help me with targets, direction, etc.
My experience really is with ES and in that market it`s all about levels. CL is probably also a lot about levels, but it does act differently. Unfortunately, volatility tends to contract too much for a day trader in ES, so that`s why I try to see if I can learn how this beast moves being a completely newbie in this market.![]()
