CL Redux

The volume seems to be unusually low today. I go ahead and say that MFGlobal probably accounted for 20-25% of trade volume on CL. MF Global is/was my major broker and I hate to see them go down. Hands down the best I have ever encountered. Not the best software but great customer service and I had met alot of their personnel from lower end customer service staff to country heads a number of times. Well I guess its time to move on :(

On other hand, classic W pattern but I don't trust it. Low volume with European concerns, dollar rallying and world indexes down. Does not seems a recipe for a upshoot. I am confident we will close below 92 today

I'm stepping away from my desk.

Do you think you could do a pre-pre warning before you leave your desk and wait for confirmation that notice has been received before actually leaving your desk.

If it's for a nature call I could build you a commode within 2 feet of your trading desk and as long as you kept your wireless mouse in hand, we would probably be OK.

Thanks.

It all worked out, TD. I got back, saw that I missed my proper entry, so I chased an entry, thought for sure I'd been suckered in because it stopped cold the minute I bought and began ticking back down (I swear I could hear price laughing at me), when suddenly as if in a dream the thing turned and broke out.

I know you're thinking, "Why not just announce you're leaving, but actually stay there and trade instead?"

You can't do that; it just doesn't work. The market is too efficient :p

Just exited all my shorts over the last month (average 92.86) at 89.60 for 326 ticks profit per lot.

Today $89 should be the floor. Should not drop more than that
