CL Redux

aquarian1,

Maybe you will also have decency to post your results in an excel or some file so that any one who is interested can open it and look at it rather than showing it in your face whether someone else has desire to look at them or not.

@ fwetrs

I think your comment is uncalled for and rude.

This thread as stated in the initial post is to post our trades, sim or real. Few people are posting their trades.

It appears that you have lost regular posters such as Nodoji due to flaming such as your post. I will not engage with you in your "baiting" for a fame war.

You have been added to the I-list.

Hi Tonka

Thank-you for your post.

I came to this thread to build my confidence in trading CL.
I am here to post my trades and hope others would post their trades.

Good trading to you.:)

After the attacks and upon reflection, I have decided to stop reading the thread.

Any good people who wish to contact me, please PM me.

This guy is worse than my gf. Get set.. get ready for 9 am est.. lets do this.

Life is short.. Michael Jordan never went out there and did mediocre. You have to dare to do the impossible, to make a mark.

Good Luck to those who put the details in the past, and move towards the "impossible"

Quote from schizo:

This thread is created to provide an ideal place for those who trade the crude oil futures (CL) to generate and exchange ideas, as well as post live calls. You're well advised to follow a few simple rules regarding DOs and DON'Ts:

1) Do post trades in Real time, including entries and exits (stops are optional*).
2) Do provide market analyses, be they your own personal insights or breaking news.
3) Do post charts, whenever possible, for visual analysis.

4) Don't post off-topic rubbish or nonsense.
5) Don't get embroiled in flame wars: No personal attacks or inflammatory remarks are allowed.
6) Don't preach how others should trade and refrain from condescension of any kind.

* Don't post unrealistic stops. Note that while nobody can accuse you of paper trading, your credibility as a trader will greatly diminish should you sit through a 20 point loss only to close out your trade flat.

  • UPDATE 1

    7a) Opening Trades:
From now on, all opening trades MUST be posted in realtime. No exception.

    7b) Closing Trades:
Likewise, it is advisable that all closing trades be posted in realtime with one exception:

If you feel that you will not be physically available to post the trades, you MUST post your stop at the time of your entry.

    8) Paper Trades:
Without sounding too coy, I'm going to opt for a "dont ask, don't tell" policy on this matter. However, there is nothing wrong with paper trading per se. Nor should anyone feel ashamed about it. Paper trading is a great way for beginners to learn the ropes. Be that as it may, paper traders MUST also abide by the same rules outlined above.

Please keep this thread on topic and follow the posting rules.

Aquarian, take it easy man, people were just suggesting that you go easy on the leverage, not attacking you personally.

And guys, as Tonkadad said, let's cut the few people that are actually posting trades some slack, shall we?

Can't we all be imaginary internet friends and play nice, pretty please? :)
