I use 8.30 to 9.15 am ( eastern time) and then have to wait for 20 minutes for A up or down confirmation. Traders use all kinds. some 5 minute , some 15 minutes etc..

Key is whichever one settles on, have to be usede same all the time. Can not be 10 minutes for 1 month and then another etc..

8.30 to 9.15 am is one of the suggestion from MF but within his firm, traders use whichever time period suits their trading style.

One tend to miss lot of moves with 8.30 to 9.15 am OR and then waiting for 20 minutes for confirmation.

yeah, i actually looked at 830 timeframe but the range is too wide for me as lotta econ news get released.
