CL Redux

Quote from macattack:

That's one of the big things I'm working on too. I can make money most days now, but I'm often not happy with how sloppy my trading is. Yesterday I made a lot of "fake" money & traded very well, so I'm making progress.

I think Josh mentioned in another post that some days his trading just felt "dirty" when it was all said & done. :)
Yeah you know I just want to stick to my rules and trade well and I'll do great. No need to wing it. All the volatility made it harder to use tight stops like I usually do, but then maybe I just need to wait for the right entry. It's not a big deal as I did well money wise and I was just trying something different.

Nice break to the upside from an oversold market. See what happens going forward. And CL is actually not that strong today all things considered, which is why I was trading TF.

Today I have had a +50, +49, +40, +25, +23, a couple other smaller winners, but it's the 12 losers of 10 ticks or so that have made it only a so-so day so far. I have been quite sloppy with certain trades. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts later on BCE. And yes mac, this is one of those "dirty" days so far, though I must say, it's my fault for trying to trade within the range...

target reached.

Nice call on that DC .. I longed .34 just prior to the breakout (very nice pennant on 1m), and closed at .84 (went to the bathroom while the trade was on, and closed manually just after coming back--makes me want to go to the bathroom every time I take a trade!).

Man it's choppy today. You have to leave your original stop in place & sit on your hands otherwise the chop will get you.

Pretty low volume today compared to the 10 day avg. Here are the last 12 bars vs the 10 day avg volume:
