CL Redux

Quote from JoshDance:

Anything is possible of course, but this does not seem to have that character at the moment... the last dip to .51 was a test of last week's high, and buyers will want to see it settle above that level. Buyers are looking weak but so are sellers at the moment, so we'll just have to wait and see!
I was just pulling for DC. :) Unfortunately the market puts its hands over its ears when I try to tell it something. :)

99.95-100 has been big time resistance lately, but I'm seeing pretty big buy orders just below that. We'll see.

Missed that push and stopped out b/e. Oh, well.

Nice entry DC.

Reentered L@.95 and exited @.03. Oh, well. Always volatile the last half hour.

Good counter-trend DC -- that was all just stops, no real initiative buying at the top. As we have not closed below the 5m EMA since 10:30am, I am not seeing selling as a good option for me personally, though longs may want to close their positions going into the weekend, particularly as it's Friday and we are at pretty good resistance levels, so that will likely keep it at or below 100.

got really lucky on that one. buncha guys on stocktwits were short underneath 100 so i figure considering yesterday's high was 100.16, i'll get in short around that price if it pops. kinda weird how the selloff began almost exactly at 1400 two days in a row now.

Will the final half hour be "deja vu all over again"?

I do not think so. I just don't see any really well-defined levels at which longs would say "okay, I'm out" ... too many bullish buying opportunities. We are receiving support at several trend lines right now, then we have .60ish, then .50, then .18.. and with only 15 minutes to go, running out of time.

ADD: buyers really want to see this settle at or near 100, I would think. Let's see how bad the sellers want to see it settle below.
