Even in black swan type selloffs like 5/5 this year, there were pullbacks. I understand what you're saying though, the question of when to take profits and when to hold is IMO the hardest part of trading. When will it pull back? And how much? The answer to those two questions is the hardest thing about trading.

By the way, when I post stupid trades or mismanage my trades as posted, will some of you guys and girls who are better than me PLEASE call me out and say, "WTF are you thinking?" I do need to trust my own analysis, but my analysis and ability to manage particularly will always need improvement, and right now my timing is off enough that I take too much heat, for far too little profits, which I usually take too EARLY. Frustrating but that's the name of the game, improving...
