Stopped again and reentered L@.31 :) Now it goes to 96?:D or 92? :p

BCE, you've been on a hot streak lately. watever u've been doing afterhours, keep it up. and of course don't forget to post your entries so we can piggy back. have a great wknd.

ES is on a roll and yet CL is merely limping along not knowing what to do with that daily TL (now sitting at 96). Somebody should put this sucka out of its misery.

You also got a IHnS on the daily. I'm seeing 100 or 90 ( or maybe 90 then 100  ). IHnS projects to 102 which is also sweet, either way should be able to pick up a few crumbs on the way

Have a gr8 4th holiday

Message for Josh:

95.30 4 DA WIN!!!

:D :D

Message Received!!

BUT, we settled below 95.00(*), which was all I guaranteed via my crystal ball!! :-) In fact, I think I said, "we may poke above 95.00, but we will close below 95.00" ... I'd call that a winning prediction--hey, I'm so good I should be on CNBC :-D

* Note: I have not calculated the settlement price yet but I can ballpark it via the chart and see that it's probably in the neighborhood of 94.95 or so

You are spot on! You were calling the close, I was just calling the "by the close" target. I used it, though, got some food and came back to see CL in "just hit BUY" mode, bought 95.05 like a silly trend-following chaser and held for a hard target @ 95.30.

BTW, that call was based on the upper trend line of a well-defined 60-min channel, not OracleWizard's magic indicator or Schizo's broken crystal ball. :p

Nice 60m channel, I was thinking after it went to .30 that it might as well test the highs again near .70, but the channel sellers held it back I see. I did not have that channel drawn.

After the base formed at .48 and the spike up occurred at 1:30, I bought above that high at .70 ... and would you believe where I put my stop YET AGAIN? Yes, that's right, .66 ..... and you know the rest of the story..... I will formulate some hard and fast, more objective rules this weekend regarding stop placement.

Made 7 ticks, should have made 10 ticks. Remember with low volume its better to not do market orders, do limit orders to get in and out of the trade. It may also be better to have a price alert stop rather than a hard stop due to this slippage of 3 ticks.

Trend was up (I consider up being above EMA ie moving average, got in on a break of small resistance. Was targeting more profit, but market was slow, so decided to get out when CL was around 1/2 way to may target.

Plan is to do around 1 - 2 trades per day, and not average in, but may use slightly wider stops instead since if you are right in direction, CL will usually get there.
