Quote from BCE:

Also impacting oil markets was news China imported about 21% more oil than a year ago. “High oil prices have therefore not dampened demand in China,” analysts at Commerzbank said.

Thats like 1 million barrels per day more, where the f**ck is that going to come from?

Quote from BCE:

Selling, selling, selling. Every rally attempt is hammered down so far.

That's called a "down trend" :D :D

I thought I'd be courteous and announce that I'm take a leave of absence from my desk.

Ugly chart for bulls. Technically I'd predict a measured move down, but it's been sporting a strong bid in the upper 90's, so follow the price...

I always wondered what that was. Someone mentioned that term before. But I wasn't sure what it referred to. It was quite a shock to me that the market doesn't always go up. That's what I had been led to believe from my broker. And he had all of the best credentials; friend of Bernie Maddof, etc. :)

Going to call it a week. Have a great weekend. :)

BTW Kid, I believe the Chinese are planning on using the aircraft carrier to transport oil too. Save a few bucks. :)

China's oil production ranks 4th in world, only meets half domestic demand

Although China has already overtaken Iran to become the world's fourth largest crude oil producer, China also has the world's second largest crude oil demand, and domestic production is still insufficient.

Ministry of Land and Resources said in 2009 China became the world's fourth largest crude oil producer after Russia, Saudi Arabia, and the United States, accounting for 5.4 percent of world crude oil production. According to National Development and Reform Commission figures, in 2009 China's crude oil output totaled about 189.4 million tons.
