CL Redux

Quote from BCE:

"Weakness" is in the eye of the beholder. What looks like weakness to one person may look more like consolidation before a move higher to others. Personally I don't see weakness.

This is why it is futile to discuss the market unless one expresses the timeline. The market was in a very weak condition, made a top just under a week later, and has since fallen to a low $20/bbl from the high. It moved only $3 further higher than the high of the day we were discussing.

I would suggest that the condition of weakness has now been resolved.

The funny thing is that I was paying $4/gal. at the pump three weeks ago when CL was hovering near its high. Yesterday, I paid $4.50 even after CL tumbled nearly $20 from the high. Tell me these gas companies aren't effing pigs.

While I might not have understood your point in its entirety, I believe one way to minimize any needless frustration is to post charts with some lines or annotations. In this regard, Nod (aka "CL Godde$$") does a superb job. :D
