Yes, several times went through the cycle: (very) profitable in demo, then a thousand cuts live...

fuck, no, didn't get filled (stop-limit)
... previous cycle problem was hesitating to enter and thus either entering late and being stopped out or missing trades altogether, then getting pissed off and stopping trading (to avoid going in tilt, which was the previous cycle
)... this cycle seems to be - to me - mostly tinkering with already tight stops due to being (now) seriously underfunded (very little work over the last couple of years, paying expenses off my savings).Might go next week in an all-or-nothing trade (as in 70 tick stop, close at the end of the day if not hit - repeat until either profitable or under 5,000)

Even though I rarely post in this thread (I do not trade CL) I follow it frequently and have always been treated courteously by all here. And a few have taken the time (you know who you are) to give me some good advice.
You are working hard to learn a pretty demanding discipline. While you may not yet have it down ... you will. Your namesake would not just throw paint at the wall because he had some frustrating months in the studio. Step away if you must but when you pony up money do it relying on the principles and setups you have worked so hard to learn. Don't make it a coin toss (or worse) by not bringing what you've learned to bear along with your capital.
Deal with the frustration however you must but deal with your capital as someone who understands that all - or - nothing bets are very rarely the best available option. This is a marathon ... not a sprint!

haha, I went long earlier at 111.35, had a stop at 111.14. I had to go out so left it, fully expecting to be stopped out. Well i just came back, and i'm still in!.

It sounds like you are undercapitalised. My advice is to trade QM, BUT not intraday! Look at position trading.
