CL Redux

Quote from Picaso:

Down about 40. Overdone now? Rebound anyone?

Good luck/skill to everyone.

Nice read yesterday, Kid.

By the way, you have to love the Japanese people: no looting, no price increases, everybody waiting in line... imagine the same anywhere else. :(

Banzai!

I dunno about ES, but I have a good feeling that it's going to be one helluva bullish day for CL.

Good Morning

Just looking at the CAC 40 which is down 4% and the DAX is down 5%. It will be an interesting day.

Hope things turn better for the people of Japan.

Hard to get a read on what's driving CL. I guess they're thinking that with everything shut down in Japan and the fact it will be a while before they're up and running, their oil consumption will be down for now. But they're not a big consumer in the bigger picture.

ADD Almost joined IV in a 99 long last night with a 1 point target which would have worked out well. But decided to let it go as I was sleeping and things were so weird. I had a feeling it would pullback more this morning.

I think all these moves are partly large players closing positions and staying on the sidelines till the situation becomes clearer, more avoiding tail risk than taking a fundamental position per se.

Could be.

Another thing for the poor Japanese people is that it's really cold over there still and their power is out. They must be freezing cold.
