Well, have you noticed other commodities in the past month? A lot of them have gone through the roof. For instance, cotton was shooting for the moon just about all last month and now is backing down but the range still remains wide. It closed limit down yesterday.

This reminds me of trading ES in the days after the flash crash. I remember thinking, "It's going to be easy to scalp 5 points out of this," and before I knew it my positions were up 15 points!

On a serious note, RTM works better on CL in my opinion.

Schiz, it's the symmetrical triangle thingy, it makes me nervous. I pick at it, scratch a few, then give up before the fantastic breakout :eek:

Yeah, when I realized my TWS was not going to connect today no matter the time, I pulled up the WebTrader (not for the faint of heart) and tried to pull a few trades Ã la Nod.

Tried to short at .65 (and then reverse long at the same price) but didn't have time (if you've ever tried the WebTrader you know what I mean - a true headache).

Then that trade.

Then I was going to short again at .94, but no time.

Then I placed a stop (that took me a while) to get long at 99.01

And then you must have gone to the toilet or something because that's when it tanked!

Awful to see a day like this and not double your account

Edit: Holy Phuket! There goes my one-pointer!
