CL Redux

Quote from Picaso:

I can quit whenever I want to, I just happen to like the taste!

[Worst part is that I had a real-money limit order to buy at <del>.22</del> .23 (with stop-and-reverse at .16) that with a huuuge <deL>3</del> 4 ticks in heat would have been good for +30 - but it was getting too late in the session for me so I pulled it and... woulda, coulda, shoulda, bah!]

Anyway, I would have probably started adding like crazy, targeting a break of the HOD and a stop run to 92 and all that stuff I'm so "good" at.

OK, wouldashouldacoulda: I was long NYMEX open @ .29. If I left my 15-tick stop and standard 50-tick target and gone out for a nice leisurely breakfast, I woulda been out 1 tick from HOD :p

OK, enough of this, gotta save some whining for tomorrow, which will consist of about 3 hours of trading.

I prefer my Texas Cadillac! It gets a solid 7 mpg! That's my house in the background. I own it and have like 9 roomates at a time!

I better not show Mr. NoD that picture. He stills laments selling his ancient Suburban that got about 12MPG...

Another buck or two higher Santa!

You should get your wish, Star. That daily chart is about as beautiful as it could be for the swing longs.

I love it when you talk bullish, what's your target?

If I had a swing long position I'd look for initial target of 91.29, BUT I'm just an old country day trader, Jim, so I'll trade anything that moves (which CL isn't this morning). :D

Take a look at GC gold (thin depth, nice breakouts), SI silver (even more so) and HG copper (quite similar, IMHO, to euro and oil).

Michigan at :55 - New Homes at :00 and NG inventories at :30 for those with the gambling itch.

Have a doctor's appointment and will leave early.

Good luck/skill everyone

and

sim

long .65

stop to add at .78

stop loss 10 ticks.

:54 Close be to go live

sim

long .77 via stop-limit

10 tick stop

I doubt this is going anywhere, though, I was going to pull this order and the one at .34 to get short and call it a day.

That pop up a moment ago seemed to be in sympathy with the >100 tick spike in NG after inventories.

:45 Stopped out at -10 ticks - sucker's trade

I'm calling it a day, Merry Xtmas to everyone!
