I watch the Euro , us dollar, and oil .It seems that they are pretty correlated , dollar inversely correlated. There are times that it isn't an exact science but I believe it's a nice little confirmation tool.

Looking to get long, couldn't pull the trigger at .63 and .68 - gold is bouncing, which imv for intraday swings is working better as a proxy than euro

Tentative target 84.80, entry, add at 10 ticks, add at HOD

Speaking of that , isnt recreational legalization on the california ballot today? That would be interesting if it passed lol
 
Now getting more inclined to short [Edit: - or not :D].

It looks as if oil wants to go up, but it's shy and won't go alone without the equities (JPM's SEC problems and BAC's talk of Countrywide's bankruptcy weighing on the indexes).

You bet it is! I voted for it, yes. I think the war on drugs is ridiculous. Fwiw, though, in the county where I live you can already have I think 2 pounds or something for personal use, and the cops here are not interested in it much anyhow. A neighbor of a rental I have has like 60 plants growing this year, many 8 feet or so. I think they allow 20 plants but then multiple people can combine to grow on a single property anyhow. My renter got in a bar fight and apparently the sheriff showed and saw the plants, asked the neighbor where to find the renter (cop at wrong house, I think) and left. I guess what I am saying is it's really just about a non-issue here.

If it passes, I am sure the drug dealers will be pissed, and that should be the idea, should it not? Fingers crossed, though I heard it was not looking good.
