these 2 SIM accounts is a good learning experience.
SIMA = 5 trades -$72
SIMB = 8 Trades +$520
( 2 trades common between them )

while trading SIMA ( which I am trying to mentally think as real and on which I am extremely carefull did not do as good, reason fear )

Walter, on that last one, price hadn't yet tested 82.44 R level, so I felt the trade was still a bit counter-trendish following that strong run up. I expected the momentum follow through of the bar low entry would carry price through the pivot low of 82.15 and continue, if in fact the bears were taking over. Well, price broke 82.15 and I moved my stop to b/e just a bit too quickly expecting continued follow through and it spiked up for a moment, took me out and I ended up taking a break instead of looking for a re-entry because price was now too close to the 20 EMA where support is often established after a strong run up. Oh well, so much for assumptions and moving the stop just a couple ticks too soon!

Started live April 2008, traded for a few months, went back to the drawing board, went back to live during sep-oct 08, got burned (emotionally more than financially), then was juggling too many balls all throughout 2009 (watching the markets, putting on some trades, but not doing much), then went back to trading live May[Edit: /June] 2010.

So depending on how you count 2.5 years or about <del>6</del> 9? months. A bit under 800 live trades. Down overall, about be if you take out two bad days, positive if you take out commissions.

Down USD 1,500 (I thought it was a bit less, but those BE's at 0 and -1 ticks add up) on this run.

Why you ask? What about you (time trading, not your stats)? Please tell me you've been trading for 10 years and not that you're 19 and started trading last year :D

Found a picture in an old journal of his. True, he looks youngish, but his intelligent gaze conveys a certain maturity, I'd say he's 21 at least.
