Not that it's important :), but here's a quick update. I still have my neck stretched out to the hilt, viz. I'm still short. i ain't sure where I want to get off at the moment. My guess is somewhere between 73 and 77. No doubt, some will consider that another exaggeration on my part.

It's surprising how B1S2 (that's used as a verb) I've become. When he created the ES Journal thread, he started out as a daytrader. By the time he sneaked out without giving advanced notice, he effectively became a position trader with a whopping 100-point stop. That certainly ain't something that I want to emulate anytime in the future. However, I'm working on making the transition into swing trading. Be that as it may, it's a bumpy process that requires a complete detox of day trading mentality.

Good luck, I have no idea what you see. I think the daily is more like a bull flag over October.

Sorry for the late post

Shorted 10 cars live at 82.46

Out all at 80.46 (was away from the computer, had a resting order)

Done for the day

...

6 red 15' bars in a row - many people getting burned buying the dips :(

Nice job, well done.

I hate to post this in the middle of the day but I just need ASAP.

I wonder if any of you have a broker that allows you to trade all kind of energy spreads such as:
Crude Oil-Nat Gas
Crude Oil-HO
Crude Oil-HU
Crack Spread 3:2:1

and WTI-BZ

not like Interactive Brokers that I have to insert one leg out time, I want on one trade one symbol that will reflect the discount on the Initial Margin...........I am talking with MF Global to use CQG Integrated Client....but the price they are giving me is too expensive.

Thanks for your help.

Excellent Trade.

so how do you manage to keep your live and sim DOM's open,
I have Tradestation and I can either login live or sim, its not possible to pick and choose at realtime.
Even in IB I can login either live or Sim.

Today Total trades = 9
+200
I missed few good signals ( was on phone or away ) and again today I had hard time letting my profits run ended leaving alot on table, I think I am one step ahead now I have to worry of letting the winners run earlier my trades did not run.

Blox, NoEmotions, ahem... I thought it was evident that I was joking :D Sorry for any confusion.

Actually I was in can't-pull-the-trigger mode all morning and later had to walk away as I was too focused on myself, as opposed to the market and on the brink on going on tilt. :(

NE, with NinjaTrader you can switch between live and sim accounts. You also have "shadow strategies" so you can see (in a sim account) what would happen if you didn't touch your stops/targets, etc.

With IB bare you'll need two computers to run both live and sim DOMs (although you may want to ask NoDoji).

I believe Thinkorswim is planning on providing a single order for pair trading. I'm not sure if it's implemented yet.

Have you looked at IB's Combo Trader? It supports multi-leg spreads.
