I was thing the same thing on the virgin thing, wtf is that?

Waiting for beans to hit another high here to see how hard it squeezes.

It's where most of the activity price happened, in this case yesterday, and hasn't been touch yet. This VPOC are magnets for price movements. In the downside we have 79.15 but that one is too far.

You really had to mention "beans" and "squeezes"? :D :p

Wanting to short, but not seeing a very good reason other than "it's high, let's short"

Let me give you a good reason. You see, I am long, so if you short, then later as the price climbs away from you, you'll have to buy back, helping me in the process. Questions?

Out BE, that might be it for today, would not surprise me....

Edit: Oh, and Picaso, that was a pretty weak effort on your part... I have college expenses to pay.

I keep an eye on the 5' (14) and 60' (3) ATR and their ratio to get an estimate of volatility for stops and targets. For example, right now, it's 23 ticks for 5' and 71 ticks for 60', so you want to use not too tight stops and have >50 ticks targets. Also their ratio is over 1:3, which is a good risk/reward and indicates that the market is trading directionally

Thank you for your reply, atleast I have some approx target ranges instead of 200.

Today total trades 8,
+200
lost last 2 trades.
Atleast I am happy I am able to avoid over trading.

Nice trade. You really nail the exits, do you trail a tight stop once it gets to your target area or do you exit via limit/target (or simply hit close when momentum fades)? Thank you.
