Careful with the FOMC minutes and the euro at 2:00 EST

Thanks for reminding.

Today was a good day for me , suddenly turned from novice to prof trader ( with lots of luck :) )
started late arounf 10:45, so far 3 trades and $ + 400 ( SIM )
caught the pullbacks around 10:50's and short near 11:30
looks like I am calling it a day.

looks down no?

enough time for some meditation :)

IMO it will probably go nowhere - after running stops left and right - I doubt that we get an honest move.

Really nice trades this morning, btw. :)

The only trade I did take was a short at 81.50, on the break of the 10:20 bar. Got +11 on that as my profit target is always 11 ticks with a 10 tick stop. I'm trying to get myself into the habit of taking the signals rather than missing out on a bunch of signals worrying that it isn't going to make a big move. Eventually as I gain more confidence I will open myself up to bigger moves.

Prime entry, FD. Since you shorted off a lower high WITH the trend, look for a break through the previous support level as your initial target zone and then see if the market will offer more. In fact you could even add a contract at a break of that 81.43 support, because then you're expecting a lower low from there. So when price broke 81.43, you move your target below 81.25 and lock in profit if it fails to break that level.

???

:p

earlier I was focusing either on the charts or at the output from my alert engine, today I trained my eyes to look at both 50% and no panic reactions, thinking there is nothing wrong if i miss a trade "the sun will again rise tomorrow", see the trend and then used only with trend signals generated by my alert engine.
or may be it was pure luck only trading ( high probability ) .
Last time I had 1 good day +900 ( followed by garbage trading days)
I hope I can repeat similar performance again tomorrow.
