She was long @ 82.64 based on the "if inventories are bearish buy the dip and target 100 ticks" strategy. She was happy as a clam to exit at 83.04 and consider a re-entry. She was supposed to be long at 83.14 or 83.17 (was that a perfect bear trap setup or what?), but she took a break. She could've been long at 83.48, but she thought it was "too high" and 2nd leg of a pullback would transpire. She almost went long at 83.85 because she was so mad she didn't hold the 82.64 long for that 100-tick target, but that seemed like a ridiculous place to go long. She decided to short 5 @ 84.06 because that's about where she would've targeted the 83.85 breakout long and she knew it would be good for 20 ticks and she put in a hard target of 83.86, thereby guaranteeing price would continue down, probably all day.

LMAO! There are very specific conditions under which I'll do that particular play. It's not something I could "code" so to speak. It's extremely discretionary. My stop was 4 ticks, BTW, very low risk. I'm totally rethinking that whole scale-out strategy... I did trade it some more but only 1 lot :eek:

EDIT: Special message for Blotto - I think it's within the scope of my experience level now :D
