Nah, it's just like a vicious circle: I get gun-shy after some be's/small losses in a row, then I see trades that I didn't take go my way, but resist the urge to chase (which has cost me in the past), then it's like I keep coiling myself until I can't take it any longer and put on a mediocre trade, which in turn reinforces my gun-shyness...
... say fuck it, I'm not in a state of mood conducive to good trading... go to sim, relax, read the market well and oh, behold, suddenly put on trades that make sense (I'm not saying all winners by any means, but trades with the ratios I expect).
This last case was particularly heart-wrenching: zero heat plus a textbook progression for my add-ons, plus 1-point target hit.
I'm gonna have to either trade or not trade, but this live/sim trading thing is killing me (not so much economically but emotionally). Fuck, I'm getting girlier with the years.
I personally believe the cl market is harder to trade around options expiration and contract expiration.
The best thing you can do is forget about your last trade, if you don't you will be focusing on what you should have done with the last trade instead of your current or future trade.

I'm gonna cover that last Qm and focus on the ES (from the short side). I'm mad I missed 76.50 which is what I was looking for but I was to busy playing Madden.
Just got long a QMV0 at 76.075. No stop as of yet, swinging as usual.
Pierced that trend line we were talking about but has come right back above. The hourly looks kinda like a head and shoulders in the making, maybe siamese twins, or lop sided boobs. My brain is tell me to exit my long QMVO with a small loss my man parts are telling me to add to it. Mostly likely will do nothing until after the stupid inventory number.
