It's nothing worse than indecision in this business, I though about it 100 times to short at the 20 MA (75.77)......that would it be 30+ ticks. I need a drink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pour me one, will you? :D

Edit: Copper suffering, maybe we go down after all.

Mr. Bochin: I'm a diet-coke-aholic, also a sugar-free Red-Bull after lunch not to fall asleep while trading.

I'm more of a dark rum guy, but Vodka is fine :)

I don't know if you like my drinks call me crazy, but since I have diabetes, the only I drink is either diet coke with Vodka, or sugar free Red Bull with Vodka......cheers!!!

Pulling my hair for not shorting at 76.10.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Stop-limit (2 tick offset at 75.34) to go short... after 30 ticks in the money I will trail stop aggressively

Hmmmm... I have it in sim because 1) we'll already be down a bit to get there and 2) I think euro's London close approaching is the only thing that is pulling down oil (seems nobody wants to stay long over the weekend just in case another politician opens his mouth) - if equities start to tank I will change the order to my live account (and post it - no tricks here :D)

How about this one.......I went long ovn at 75.84. Put a bracket order(oco) to sell at 26.08 and stop at 25.65. Well my stop order got hit but for some reason the bracket didnt dissolve the other order so i then went short at 26.08. I woke up right now and was confused but happy and closed it at 75.66....almost the same amount I would have had if the original trade would have worked! Crazy day but what the hell happened to the bracket order?

edit: crappy exit but i was just happy to see it

OCO orders have a serial number that binds them. Check in your log if your orders have that number. If yes then you would need to check with your broker (if it had been a losing trade :) ); if not, then you may have miss-clicked???

Edit: oh, congrats, sometimes it's better to be lucky than to be good :)

(Stopped out of that short at a 20 tick loss - now it'll crater :D )

added 1 Qm 75.075 (avg 76.10) not liking this "gentle probing" just rip the band aid off and get it over with.

Excellent entry RA, there was a TL around here :)

thanks, been waiting for it all night. I'm just wondering if I should have gone martingale on its ass. Still need this thing to go to 77 by next week to make it worth while. All three will be stopped out at 74.65. Or would it be more wise to scale the stops as well?
