Quote from NoDoji:

My CL has been 4.62 RT for a long time. I want .20 off...

Phak!!! :D

OK, my bad - never mind, this is old news, indeed (moved from one version of NinjaTrader to another and forgot to update comms)

I shouldn't have had that sangria with my lunch

But don't worry, Nod, I'll put in a word for you next time I talk to Tom

Quote from Picaso:

I guess most of you who trade with IB have already noticed, but they've lowered their commissions (by 20 cents per side for low-volume traders).

So CL is nos 4.62 per RT instead of 5.02

Wooohooo!!! :D

damn, and i was sad i'm paying 3.12 RT

Well, if you're doing over 20,000 cars per month and paying X_Trader, power to you. We were talking low volume (<1,000 cars/month)

gotcha i understand...but i wasnt really trying to compare in that way but it came out like that. More on the comparison between other markets vs. nymex. i.e. I pay 2.50 on es but 3.42 on 6e so really i guess its in the middle. Always just seems so much bc you get the index prices stuck in your head.

If you're trading that volume, how come you don't lease a seat? NYMEX is awfully expensive, but I'm sure you can get something at CME that makes it worth your while.

Edit: but I see what you're saying; I used to trade mostly Treasuries and every time I put on a trade in oil or euro I was like "Holy cow, they're ripping me off!"
