CL Redux

Quote from trader198:

sorry did not get back to you, I am gambling NG afte thae data, bought some at 4.63 out 4.787, felt spoiled for brave gambling, but again market rewards me. CL aleady rallied much, no meat there.

my fill is 74.73, that 0.0023 is commission fee added averaging price, it is ok, no one wants you to beleive me real money or paper money.

good luck

Nice Natty play :)

Were you just playing for a rebound? Inventories were actually bearish.

I studied it last night, I put a limit order there (thought to be support) before data is out, also a sell order at 5.0. i am selling it now, sell it at 4.740, not cover it yet, hope to cover it at 4.63 again?

Before data is out? You have some balls...

I used that strategy at the beginning of my career and averaged 10% a week for a while (in hindsight pure luck), but then got hurt bad.

Isn't slippage in NG a killer for you?

before the data the limit order sell (a liitle bit high, measure move amount)/buy is there, I was little bit nervous. NG noramlly does that, sharp down, then quickly up or vice vesia. when you look at the long-term chart, you will easily see Ng breaks out from 4.5 (TL), my moving averaging break point at 4.39. I am bullish based on the chart. that is why I put a limit order a little bit high than the support level, the shallower the thrust the more bullish, I do not want it fall to 4.5, that price is either or.
