what happened to permabear

you've been itchin long since before the close even though we are right up against your trendline!
Sorry, but I have no idea what you're saying. Permabear I am but my desire is to become a "smart" permabear.

BTW which tl you referring to? Also did you not notice that I went long and got burned twice in a row before the close?

10/21 anld 1/6 highs give u a tline at 85.26 and a high a few days ago at 85.37 for supp
Since you rely on TOS like this noob, I need to see your chart since mine doesn't line up.

sal, on tos, before u extend the line, just connect the 2 points, then click on the line and hit edit property, change the 2 points to exact hi and low, then in bottom right of that box click apply or ok, then afterwards extend it

No offense but, ammo, can't you draw them lines straight?

You can do this by checking the "snap to" option and selecting "OHLC" from the pulldown menu in the CHART SETTINGS.

That line you refer to has been posted by this noob a couple days ago (scroll up a few pages and you will see it) and it currently points to 86.70 for tomorrow but, as far as I'm concerned, there's no way we are going back up there tomorrow.

*edit*

So it appears you do know how to snap the lines, so why are the lines off?

*re-edit*

Again, you shouldn't just haphazardly draw them lines, especially on the daily chart. They should snap to OHLC. It makes a very big difference when you narrow down to the intraday charts.

sorry sal, just checked it 10/21 and 1/6, even redid it using the edit properties ,and came up with 85.36 81.99 and 83.52 were the highs on my chart for those 2 dates ,so unless you have diff #'s, that tl is still good

Oops, my bad. You're right. I was looking at the wrong TL. Here are the two TLs that I'm monitoring. But it's my feeling that we just might push below the TL you're referring to.

Are these those lines you pull out your ass, like Lescor does?

:D

Quote from lescor:

I have a chart with a bunch of lines. When the price hits a line, I buy or sell, when it hits another line, I add. When it comes back and starts hitting more lines, I cover. If it hits the wrong lines I say "oh crap" and take a loss. The lines are just numbers I pull out of my ass that historically seem like decent enough levels to place a bet.
