ES is making a new high so tread carefully going forward. Everybody will be looking for the light to shine on 1200 (just shy of 10 points, hurrah!). Remember when the damn thing was trading just below 1000 and we were merely shaking our heads?

Agree but what if the minutes came out and said that a few fed govenors were concered bout inflation. The minutes said that inflation is much lower then what they were anticipating.

Frankly, it doesn't matter a whole lot at this juncture in time. In my not-so-humble opinion, this market is bent on seeing 1200 for S&P come rain or shine.

I think today or tomorrow will be the top. At least one in which I want to try shorting.

let me rephrase: Today or tomorrow will be a top. Dont know if there will be THE top for a long time.

edit: flat again at .85, doesnt look like any longs selling out yet.
