QM is different with CL, lots of time in thin trading time, QM may overshoot or overdrop.
like Monda's evening, QG hit 3.815, but NG just hit 3.880. if you traded those miny contracts, you know you can not use stop, you need use limit order. I often do that to get those abnormal movement, particularly in the opening or news.

I probably traded actively on that day as well. Being a daytrader, I just can't remember everything on a daily basis. But can you post a daily chart of CL? BTW which data vendor do you use?

Also if you look at the chart for the front month (CLJ0), you would see that 85.43 is the high registered on 01/11. Just how the hell are you suppose to reconcile the two different numbers? :mad:
 
that is diff-month's spread. May CL is a little different with June CL, and son on. I always trade the current month, do not pay much attention to other months' CL (not actively traded, low volume, hard to trade).
