weird... looks like cme is trying to extend the CL's trading hours... more move happened after 2:30pm... used to be that last hour before 2:30pm was good stop run.. might as well do more swing trade.. ciao
 
Alright, CL looks downright nasty on the daily and so does ES. Let's see if we can get a decent drop tomorrow. There's a ledge at 79.80-ish but other than that we could fall straight down to 78.

I dunno why you would say that since CL is such a slowass market in the afterhours. I s'pose you do get some nice action in the wee hours of the morning but, unless you're one of the privileged sleep-deprivated junkies, you would most likely be meandering in the netherworld at those hours.

At any rate, I would love to swing trade for days on end...if I could. So far, I've not had much success. Perhaps it's bad timing on my part. Moreover, there's no worst feeling than to sit through all the chops while telling yourself everything is just fine.
 
It's one of those if a tree falls in the forest kinda deals. If I don't watch all the swings I don't have all that mental baggage and it's like it never happened. At my core I'm a fundamentalist and that seems to make inter-day trading very difficult I'm always saying to myself what the hell happened that makes oil worth $4 more this hour than 4 hours ago even though we are trading possible future prices (what the hell is the spot price?) I wish i could sit here and scalp and make 1k a day but I just can't do it. I can only be a daily/hourly investor/trader so posting my trades here is kinda pointless since most of you seem to be 15mins and down which I'm extremely jealous of. Have a great day everyone :D
