I'm learning bad habits sim trading CL. If I trade without stops, I make a lot more money. Hmmm.. looks like I won't be going live for a while till I figure that one out.

My source in a major airlines told me that their hedging department head told the traders to accumulate a substantial number of oil contracts for the summer. The ideal time to do it is buying after a dip. The ideal dip was created by the oil inventory number this morning. So the traders in the hedging department jumped in and started buying. My source described the traders' buying as a "feeding frenzy."

As soon as I saw that big hammer left on my 5-min chart I figured something was up. Had a good trade from 79.87, but it would've been killer if I hadn't trailed my damn stop.
 
Oh god, tragedy finally struck. I stoplossed out of my short position @ 8107. Flat now; im in pain.
BTW next resistance 8145. Will go short there
