mental stop is at 78.70, I plan on closing some of the positions before going to bed at around 2am.

I wouldn't be short going into a weekend. Lot of folks buying oil contracts like lottery tickets hoping for a weekend disruptive event.

Not to mention Monday's have been bullish for the last few months, further reducing the risk.

i put on a short before bed also after i saw it shoot up on no volume....

got out around 78.

I would be careful about shorting here, I see the bulls pushing it up to 79 today.

hope you are right.


i bought some USO calls in a side account yesterday when oil was at 77....they are making me feel kinda dirty, would love to dump out of them at 79.

If i short today i probably will only try to scalp a few pennies...i dont like being short oil over the weekend really.
