CL Redux

Quote from riskaddict:

Got a limit order in to cover at 76.40 if you guys could push it down to there while I'm at work I would appreciate it:p
I'm kinda leaning towards the view that we make a quick plunge down to 75.70 and then kick right back up.

yep since Monday was a holiday
Yeah, like people would stop using their gas furnaces or stop driving on holidays. ::rolling those damn eyes::

:( :)

In addition, "didn't know CL could move that fast", I'd put CL at the top of the list for things able to move fast if there is sufficient motivation.

Still haven't traded CL live, but once had a stop trigger in sim with $1128 "slippage". Slippery stuff, that CL...

I had a tradestation sim of russell futures that when I went to sell they went for 000.10
Lost a little bit of monopoly money there.
I expect up to .10 slippage in cl depending on how important the support-resistance is. More if its a big position

about 113 ticks "slippage", if I had to guess this had to be during the inventory report. CL is fast, but doesnt move 113 ticks in a blink of an eye except during inventory. if you're trading during inventory then you have no reason to be shocked.

Bloomberg had a guest saying that oil was going to 81 and 84 possibly this week?

First Goldman articles, now news and this is with a second month of build inventories.

I was and am still hoping some profit taking will happen tonight with my exit at the 75 area.

Several of the news channels are still saying the rally is short covering based.
