CL Redux

this is the daily chart for December Crude. Looks like we are headed for $83 region. Have added heavily to my longs

ok, tell us how many contracts you have bought, so that we will know the size of your victory and celebrate it in the next few weeks.
 
I've been sim trading the Dec contract and had an overnight swing trade with a profit target which was lifted in the wee morning hours.

When I started up my IB demo account this morning it displayed a message that I had 1 or more CL contracts for which IB can not make delivery (or something to that effect) and they had to be closed or rolled within an hour. Not sure why this happened AFTER the position was closed, but my question is, should I now be trading the Jan contract?
 
Yes - just pay attention to the volume and it will tell you when you need to switch. Volume right now is with the January contract. Also tomorrow is the last day for trading Dec. unless you want delivery - that is probably why you got the message.

My trading roomies told me since I'm currently sim trading CL, I'd be taking delivery of synthetic oil which is more valuable, so it's too bad IB can't handle that for me :D
