Do you use a front end to trade with thru IB? If so, have you tried using the IB gateway instead of the TWS for your trading? Takes up much less resources than TWS.

stopped out. happy about the trade since i was able to see it through without emotionally taking profits, and if it had gone up 10 fold, kick myself again like always.
