CL Redux

Quote from Speciaul_K:

I think everyone is trading es now. Not sure why cl is a braindead trade right now

I had 1 CL trade today. Bought around 10am, 74.21s and 74.29s. Made about .30, but left another .40 or so on the table. The quick nature of CL is a double edge sword for me, it can move so fast I forget that I still need to be patient in my trades.

But Ive been trading more gold and nat gas lately as well. And ES has been rockin.

This up move wiped everyone out?
Ghost town in here...
I think people have migrated back to ES for the time being, myself included. Once the volatility drops, I'm sure we'll be pouring back into CL.

We've had 3 years of excellent volatility during summer. I get the feeling this one may be slow - for ES

i think cl is easier to tradde on these days taking 20 =30 cent moves on 2 4 or 6 contracts

No doubt - if you are playing for 50+ moves you are getting stopped or ticked out like crazy this week.

Gotta know your market, that's for sure.

LOL it happens in CL man.

It pretty much followed that big drop/bounce in the ES. I got a quick long scalp on the green bar after the hammer on the 5min chart, +0.15 on 2 lots.
