CL Redux

Duhh, those are the techinical reasons I should have listed why I think the market is going lower. Sorry bout that.
To give more detail why I was saying that someone is trying to prop up the market is that:
At pit open if you came in flat you would have sold the open trying to take out 8000. There was more money to be made running stops there vs grinding higher all day.
With the logic above that tells me that someone big or many big players did not sell out of their longs in the 8100 area.
Skizo, I left out the part that the upward trendline from 2/5 was pierced today. Damn this thing has to break.

Would you please elaborate why you quoted me before writing sucha witty, if not overly touching, remarks? Moreover, might I kindly remind you that you're engaging in hindsight analysis. You could visit the "woulda shoulda coulda" thread that I created for that very purpose:

It isn't personal schizo. I merely posted my own notes, since so many people shorted 81.84 and none reported catching the big move that actually occurred afterwards, basically everyone including me managed to beat themselves up either scratching, making a small win, or losing in what was a perfectly good vertical drop short opportunity. The rest was just my own psycho stuff coming to surface.

There is no loss till expiration. Stop is the price of premium ie the cost of the options although I may kill the trade if I still have time premium before expiration and the market is still high or higher. As noted in ES forum, i averaged down and bought more puts when es was around 1135. Its just one trade, if market does not fall before expiration, then I will lose the premium on those puts.

Note, I am somewhat hedged with long positions, like my sale of naked puts on SII and RMBS that look to expire worthless, plus I own stock in RMBS and sold covered calls.

It sure sounds profitable. Just the accounting gives me a headache.

What do you guys see for tomorrow? I ain't so sure that we can hit 85 anymore. Today's PA looks downright bearish. Also don't like the way ES closed either. I would say CL will be either flat or drift lower for tomorrow.

I think crude will rise and ES will drop. I'll play ES today.

it seems like the China crude data is overshadowing the bearish data report by API. Even if the DOE reports bearish numbers numbers, I think CL will go down temporarily and bounce back up because of China.
