thanks for the info, schizo. i use IB as well. i'll start using April tomorrow. it seems to correlate better with USO today, fwiw.
We see same pattern here
- have your bearish view , short at morning highs, close at pit session close, sleep well , wait for next morning high and short
Repeat the cycle , same thing last 4 sessions
Problem is we recognise this pattern when pattern about end ........
By the way April/march spread dropped 50 ticks today ( after all our oil tanker renting talk ).
I fell this spread can drop another 50 ticks, so for any overnite shorts being short in April than march will add to your profits
If you are April short than march , would have earned 45 + 50 ticks

If you post your trades, I promise not to make scary comments such as "Hmmmmm..." until you've been trading CL at least three full months.
Also, can we form a committee get CL to rollover quarterly, because I hate having to use the flashy-thingy to erase all those S/R levels from my memory and start over every month.
