CL Redux

King (BoE) saying England highly exposed to Ireland.

Quote from Picaso:

Austria saying that they will only pay their allocated contribution to Greece's rescue IF Greece delivers on their promises (which, according to the Austrians, they haven't so far).

Ireland's MofF to give a press conference later. Edit: at 12:00 EST

Everything taking a good beating.

Quote from riskaddict:

Things get weird this time of year correlations break down and trends end. Seems like around the last three Thanksgivings something comes out of nowhere. Last year was the abu dabi bullshit or where ever it was the year before it was the carry trade that broke down. I can't remember 3 years ago but I know I lost about 10K on some aussie dollar futures in like 3 mins and then made it back 2x's with the Cad. Basically in my opinion it's best to trade small in Nov.

I was thinking 79.30ish would be it for the DX but it's just unrelenting. I can't make myself short CL with all these tails that keep forming. I'd feel really good getting short at 82.90 or 83.40 on december other than that I don't know what to do. I just went from net short to net long on the es looking for 1081 to get neutral. I hate these days where there are a few long bars and then everybody stares at each other and plays chicken. I guess I'll work on my poker skills over at Delaware park with all the other scum bags that have nothing to do all day.

We had positive signs of demand picking up from the US, where according to the API crude inventories slid 7.7 million barrels compared to the expected for 100,000 barrel build. The inventory decline comes ahead of the awaited EIA report today which is expected nearly unchanged from the previous week.
