How Much Has Citizens United Changed the Political Game?

So, exactly, what did all those hundreds of millions get those backers?

Proof that money is ineffective, I'd say.
 
I'd be astounded if one in a hundred, ok make it a thousand, could even tell you what the decision said. Fewer could give a coherent explanation of its effects.

Of course leftwing loudmouths like to pontificate about how it is the worst thing since Reagan, but they didn't seem to mind when Soros was opening his checkbook to fund Clinton groups or to attack conservatives. Or when the Chinese, euro trash and Saudis lavish big money on the Clinton "Foundation." That's different. And of course union money, which is largely taken from wage earner members under government compulsion, is sacrosanct.

American companies with billions at stake are just supposed to sit quietly by and say nothing about major issues affecting them or their industries. As for buying pols, other than Wall Street, whcih is heavily democrat, and those sugar goons in Florida, I don't see it.
