Indeed. Doesn't take much to try and get the money back.
In good old New England, it's up to each INDIVIDUAL city and town to decide its rates. Values go down, raise the mil rate. Want to argue your assessment? Good luck in some areas...it will take you a lot of work and trouble to get that new assessment done.
