Plus Saddam was in US custody for a while, we saw him on trial and his execution was leaked onto the internet.

Osama was buried at sea so his grave wouldn't become a shrine to his supporters, it makes him easily forgotten when there isn't a physical place to visit. Same goes with Hitler, no one wants Hitlers grave to be visited so the Russians took his body and buried it in a mass grave, despite all the conspiracy theories saying otherwise. Then in 1970 they dug up the mass grave, cremated all the remains inside and put the ashes in a river. It was well documented by the KGB.
